Let’s move on to the second day of Diwali, Kali Chaudas and as per Hindu Calendar it is also known as Narak Chaturdashi and also we can say that 14th day of the dark fortnight of the Kartik Month.Kali Chaudas normally falls three days before Bhai Dooj and six days before Labh Pancham, these all celebrations are significant as for the fantastic Diwali celebration.

It is also called as Choti Diwali in General, people worship Goddess Kali. People worship Kali Mata so they can fight against the bad. In our Indian History people from various religions, Individuals from various religions keep their faith in the goddess, as some worship her for blessings, some do as she protects them from bad people.

The day dispensed to the devotion of Mahakali or Shakti and we accept that on this day Kali killed Asura Naraksura, along these lines known as Naraka-Chaturdashi, it is a day to abolish all the negative energy and laziness that we have in our inside and brings happiness into our lives.

Rituals which we remember with the festival.
As per our Hindu Traditions, people practice puja on this day with Oil, Flowers, Sandalwood including coconuts which is offered to Hanumanji. People distribute Prasada to others and it includes sesame seed, Jaggery, rice flakes and much more. On this auspicious day it is encouraged to wake up earlier than the normal timings. While taking bath you have to wash your head properly, and apply Kajal in the eyes is believed to keep the bad eye away. Tantras and Mantras are done on this day, because not all but some people believe that it's a good day to offer food to their forefathers.
